position description: puller/inventory
the warehouse puller position is responsible for assisting in all warehousing duties, but not limited to, preparing orders for production. the puller will utilize company system to pull a wide variety of different blank apparel, place and arrange in boxes and/or on pallets. the puller will check and confirm correct items and quantities are selected. you will perform duties in accordance with standard operating instructions, and ensure inbound and outbound shipments are correct. you will need to operate a forklift, maintain equipment and perform basic maintenance, conduct physical inventories and report accurate information.
to ensure success in this position you will need to perform a high level of accuracy, organized with great attention to detail and be in good physical condition to lift and move heavy boxes that may be up to 50 lbs.
essential duties and ensuring work environment is kept clean, neat, and well-organized; complying with establishment’s policies, procedures, regulations, and/or instructions from frequent communicate with supervisor and/or team members on pulling status and frequent move from warehouse to inside the office to access copier and/or label receiving, labeling, and storing incoming packing & relabeling remaining stock, taking inventory, and reporting ensuring and maintaining accurate pulling orders as requested by confirming accuracy of orders and signing pull sheets to ensuring correct pull sheet/shipping information is attached and moving complete orders to designated/shipping packing boxes on pallets and securing with stretch unloading incoming blank apparel boxes from truck by using conveyor belt, pallet jacks, and/or operating forklifts stand-ups, or pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, and arrange merchandise accordingly and adhere to all safety guidelines while operating a forklift or other complying with osha and other safety regulations. assisting in maintaining security of assist other departments in the warehouse maybe required by management in lulls in your other duties and tasks as assigned by must be at least 18 years of previous warehouse experience previous forklift experience must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, basic math and counting stills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, ability to perform your duties under pressure and in a timely ability to maintain solid available to work extended hours. physical ability to push/pull pallets of merchandise with pallet ability to lift boxes of apparel up to frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during entire length of warehouse environment, noise level may be exposed to outdoor as dock are always open and variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold depending on the season.
