lead nurse – the role:
the lead nurse manages all medical and health issues within the school and oversees the nursing service to promote good health and medical advice to children and colleagues. alongside leading the department this role is very much part of the team of nurses and within a school setting this includes caring for children in the broadest terms of their health: physical, emotional and mental. the lead nurse is line managed by the senior deputy head.
