Accounts payable analyst - united kingdom, manchester

we have an exciting opportunity for an accounts payable analyst to join our friendly, professional team in manchester.

working as part of a small team within a large finance department, you will be expected to continue to provide the same level of service to our travel counsellors customers, ensuring that all payments to our external suppliers are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

you will be responsible for ensuring customer records are updated accurately to reflect payments made, in order to secure customer purchases.

main responsibilities of an accounts payable analyst

initially you will be expected to:

make payments to suppliers using various payment methods and systems.make payments in various currencies, calculating exchange rates.match and reconcile online accounts/statements to our in-house system.identify and resolve queries & discrepancies.liaise both internally with various departments and externally with both salespeople and suppliers in the uk and abroad.update clients computerized recordsreporting and recording of daily paymentsother reasonable duties as directed by the accounts managerin time you will be expected to own and be responsible for your own supplier accounts.
