Housekeeper - part time - united kingdom, haslemere, surrey
we are currently looking to hire an excellent second housekeeper who will be required to work part time in a magnificent estate in surrey. we are also looking to fill another 2 part time housekeeper roles in the godalming area, both self employed, the role below is an employed paye role.
you will be working for an overseas family who are not in-residence full time, the suitable applicants must be experienced at looking after high-end finishes, as well as delivering a service to exacting standards. more details can be found below.
about the role:
you will be working for a private family who are not in-residence full time.
the residents will arrive for holidays lasting anywhere between 4 days to 3 weeks – during which your working hours may increase slightly
you will be working alongside the house manager who works full time and supporting them in their role
requirements/responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
cleaning the property daily to a very high standard.
taking care of specialist items such as silver, antiques and bespoke furniture. laundry care, ironing and pressing and other domestic tasks.
running small errands.
the successful applicant must:
possess the ability to work under pressure
have the ability to follow instructions
be flexible to work in the evenings and on weekend, if necessary when the family are in residence but not a deal breaker
display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
have an excellent work ethic is essential
have a high attention to detail
be proficient in english language
experience cleaning within private homes
you must be a driver as this is in a rural location just outside of haslemere in surrey

salary: £15 - £17 per hour (based on experience)
