adecco is working with the global leader in materials engineering solutions who is hiring immediately for additional material handler's on all shifts! as a material handler, you will perform essential duties with base pay ranging from $18-$20/hour, plus available overtime.

differentials will be added to base pay rate for 2nd and 3rd shifts

available shifts:

1st shift: 6:00am to 2:30pm

2nd shift: 2:00pm or 10:30pm

3rd shift: 10:00pm to 6:30pm

essential duties:

controls and maintains the accurate transfer of parts and materials in and out of stock room. performs cycle count to verify and maintain inventory. locates and expedites necessary materials. receives parts and updates inventory records as well as the following responsibilities.

• locates, audits, and transfers kits or materials as required.

• may perform satellite receiving functions.

• may perform materials pickup or drop-off at vendor sites (requiring use of a van or truck).

• performs cycle count to verify and maintain inventory

• under direction from management, prevents accumulation of excess material.

• moves stock as required.

• in a manufacturing environment, may replenish empty lineside bins.

• receives parts and updates inventory records or shortage reports; may perform transactions in oracle, or other inventory systems.

• verifies vendor delivery before accepting parts and/or inventory.

• may monitor, update and maintain shortage reports including review of work orders. 

• under direction from supervisor, purges stock of excess and obsolete material.

• takes necessary action to rework, transfer, or scrap these items.

• regulates and prepares material for delivery to the cleanroom environment.

• adheres to all safety standards and protocols. follows documented business processes.

• employees may be assigned to work in a spare’s environment, with a heavier focus on activities related to inventory management.

• performs transactions in sap.

requirements:

requires a high school education or equivalent
