adecco is assisting local client recruit for a mid-level facilities maintenance candidate. this opportunity is temp to permanent!
responsibilities:
repair and maintenance of facilities hvac systems including vav boxes, humidifiers, exhaust fans, scrubbers, portable chillers, and rooftop package units
routinely inspecting electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures, and appliances
installing new electrical, hvac, plumbing and mechanical appliances in the building
troubleshooting system failures (electrical & mechanical)
maintain and inspect fire suppression systems
repair and troubleshoot commercial air compressors
works with manufacturing or process engineering in the installation or repair of building infrastructure
uses communication skills (verbal and written) to regularly exchange information
completes work with a limited degree of supervision
expand skills in own work area within an analytical/scientific method or operational process
testing of electrical systems with oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters
works from blueprints, drawings, or rough sketches
adherence to safety and performance standards
occasional on-call/afterhours calls
high school diploma or ged
minimum of 5 years in commercial/industrial electrical systems (3 phase)
minimum of 5 years in repair and maintenance of hvac systems including: vav boxes, humidifiers, exhaust fans, scrubbers, portable chillers, and rooftop package units
proven work experience reviewing blueprints and schematics (electrical & mechanical)
knowledge of power and hand tools, recordkeeping techniques and regulations, including use of automated record systems
use of personal computers to use automated recordkeeping tools, automated system controls, and email customer service practices, cmms systems
strong overall knowledge of building automation/management systems
familiar plc and automation controls
current wa state driver’s license required
strong commitment to electrical safety
preferred associate degree or technical apprenticeship preferred
preferred journeyman or master electrician license
preferred universal refrigeration license,
knowledge of national electrical code requirements
physical requirements:
use hands and fingers fully; reach for, manipulate, and feel objects; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl;
climb and maintain body balance on ladders, scaffolding, or high structures; and see and hear well (either naturally or with correction);
lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
stoop, lay, bend or squat for long periods of time.
what's in this for you?
•pay rate is $30-$34 an hour (doe)
•monday-friday: 7:00am-3:30pm
•weekly pay – you receive a paycheck every week
