Production technician -full time - permanent - up to £24.5k - based in fareham - united kingdom, gosport, hampshire

this role will have a salary uplift in january 2023 by 7% to £22,500pa as a basic starter salary.

in addition, this role also incorporates a skills matrix, where you are able to learn new skills within production, with the potential to increase your salary up to £24,500pa from january 2023 (currently up to £23,000pa).

we are searching for an additional production technician to manufacture, test and package our sensor arrays. it is essential that our candidate can work in an environment where accuracy and consistency is paramount. we are searching for people that have steady hands, showing excellent dexterity, high concentration levels and have an eye for detail. our sensors are very delicate, so require an individual that may have experience with fine artwork, textiles or other intricate hand-craft.

our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have strong communication skills, encompassing a professional attitude with integrity and team spirit. we are looking for someone who is adaptable and passionate about your work. due to the nature of the job role, we have a full training matrix integrated into the onboarding process of new recruits to ensure that they are fully equipped to meet the job specification.

key duties:

build of sensor arrays testing of sensor arrays during various stages of build working to specific production process procedures adherence to qhse policy and practices excellent housekeeping within the production facility suggesting potential process improvements which will increase yield or reduce cost reporting to the production manager

essential:

manually dexterous with the hands experienced in working in a low/medium volume manufacturing operation meticulous and quality focussed experienced in working in a small team environment used to working in a metric-driven production facility

monday - thursday: 07:30 – 16:30

friday: 07:30 – 13:30
