adecco is assisting a fortune 500 client in recruiting for a payroll coordinator in dublin, ca. this is a full-time temporary position in dublin, ca.

 

payroll coordinator jobs require candidates to process immediate state termination pay for non-exempt store associates, which includes calculating and posting final pay, emailing temporary paystubs and printing final stub and mailing to associate’s home address on file. respond to all employee inquiries in a timely and effective manner. maintain effective communications with all internal and external business partners. assist as needed in the processing of bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls

 

responsibilities for the payroll coordinator include but are not limited to:

  • process immediate state termination pay for non-exempt store associates, which includes calculating and posting final pay, emailing temporary paystubs and printing final stub and mailing to associate’s home address on file.   if paying on a pay card, funding pay card on third party platform with accuracy.
  • maintain the highest level of confidentiality for all employee payroll and personnel records
  • process all daily manual off cycle checks in batches throughout the day. work with the other coordinators to ensure that there is no overlap between processes being run. 
  • respond to all employee inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
  • maintain effective communications with all internal and external business partners.
  • maintain and evaluate systems and procedures to ensure internal controls and to improve efficiency and timeliness.
  • remain current on new legislation and regulatory ruling(s) impacting payroll. enforce adherence to requirements and advise management on required action(s).
  • assist as needed in the processing of bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls.
  • candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for payroll coordinator jobs:

  • must be able to work weekends and/or holidays (or as needed on a rotating basis).
  • must be able to work overtime if needed
  • associate degree or equivalent experience (2 to 4 years of payroll experience).
  • ability to provide excellent customer service while working with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
  • strong organization skills, ability to set priorities.
  • strong word and excel for windows.
  • strong communication skills both verbal and written.
