this company is a global leader in peristaltic and single use bioprocessing solutions, and a diverse portfolio of life sciences and diagnostic products for the pharma, biopharma, healthcare, and environmental markets, launches today. they continue to build on a platform of unique products and expert customer support by expanding the company's organic product research and development capabilities and acquiring complementary products and companies.

they are seeking a hr coordinator to join their expanding and busy team.

the successful candidate must have previous experience of working within hr and providing support to staff in relation to recruitment, payroll administration and terms and conditions of employment.

main responsibilities

- to actively be involved all areas of hr administration including but not limited to co-ordinating new starter / leaver administration, obtaining recruitment approval, liaising with agencies, arranging interviews

- to be responsible for the maintenance of hris ensuring information is accurate and up to date

- carry out new starter on boarding, and liaising with h&s officer

- accurate and timely production of monthly payroll amendments, letters to employees, reports, offer letters, contracts, producing new starter paperwork, monthly company car reports, annual leave status reports

- to support the hr team with all related hr administration

- maintaining the time and attendance system

- assist the md with expenses and adhoc admin from time to time.

critical competencies: skills and abilities required for the role

- excellent administration and organisational skills are essential.

- you must be qualified to gcse (or equivalent) level c or above in english and maths

- strong it skills - microsoft / excel / powerpoint

- attention to detail

- strong communication skills both written and verbal

- a high level of confidentiality

- able to work to tight deadlines, under pressure and in a busy environment

- professional manner and able to deal with people at all levels within the organisation

a certificate in personnel practice or currently working towards cipd and knowledge and understanding of recruitment and hr administrative tasks is essential for this hybrid working role
