about us

a well – known brand, the buffalo farm is based just outside kirkcaldy fife. the home of scotland’s largest water buffalo herd, our unique point of difference, we offer a true farm to fork experience.

we have 3 retail outlets, offer a home delivery and collection service, supply wholesale to a growing number of farm shops. the business has over 70 employees working between the farm, butchery, dairy, bakery and retail teams.

our products have won many awards including 3 great taste awards, and scottish food and drink, meat supplier of the year 2017.

the role

we have a part time position available to join our retail team at boglily steading.

we are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with customers and colleagues alike and thrives in their role by offering excellent customer service.

the successful candidates should have a passion for food and be comfortable promoting and selling products.

the role is a physically demanding one, it is a fast-paced environment, so a good level of fitness and physical stamina is needed. you need to be comfortable working under pressure and using your own initiative. a bubbly personality and having the confidence to interact with customers is essential.

the role involves -:

serving the public, till operation and cash handing.

stock replenishment and merchandising

maintaining a clean, hygienic and well-presented shop environment.

working hours are 25 per week, working up to 5 days out of 7. both positions will include weekend working on a rotational basis. shifts will vary but will include 7am starts.
