key responsibilities of the role include:

developing and overseeing long-term and short-term capacity planningoptimising overall plant efficiencymaintain service levels in-line with sites otif targetsplanning and scheduling departmentpaper stock management and controls

be a central point of communication for operations & customer service personnel for capacitydevelopment and maintenance of capacity models and associated management reportsproviding clear plans for capacity optimisation and performance improvementsdevelop offload contingency lines with opco’s control of specific kpis including otif, waste, maximising hours and minimising downtime

the ideal candidate will need to demonstrate the following:

proven track record in delivering high levels of customer service and the administration of complex business systemsexcellent analytical skills with the ability to analyse large amounts of dataunderstanding of the end to end production processescommercial awarenesseffective stock management experiencehigh degree of interpersonal and communication skillseffective people management and leadership skillshighly professional and organised with a keen attention to detailproactive and able to make sound logical decisionsresilient and able to cope under pressure to react to frequently changing situationscreative problem solving skills are essential to this role

the successful candidate will be able to show a track record of success within their previous roles.
