Au pair - united kingdom, tetbury, gloucestershire

we are a family of four living in the cotswold countryside within an hour’s drive of bath and bristol. we would like an au pair to join us for at least 12 months. both parents work full-time running their own businesses and so support is required with the morning and afternoon routines as well as in the school holidays.

we would like you to help for 35 hours per week, monday to friday with occasional weekend or evening work. extra hours would be paid for or given back in time off in lieu.

the main things we would like you to do are: helping getting the children up, preparing their breakfast and getting them ready for school; taking them to school and picking them up at the end of their day; helping the children with their homework and indoor & outdoor activities when they are not at school; preparing evening supper for the children and tidying up afterwards; helping with bath times; doing household duties such as general cleaning, tidying & laundry. the care of animals (ponies, dogs and chickens) will also be included.

in addition to this, we would like to be able to call upon you for babysitting and occasional weekend help.

you will have your own bedroom & bathroom within our house. we can provide you with linen and towels and you are welcome to use our washing machine for your own washing.

pocket money will be per week, full board, all food provided.

a car is available for an experienced driver.
