Business development manager - united kingdom, enniskillen, county fermanagh

we are looking for an experienced business development manager.

an exciting opportunity has become available for a business development manager to target new accounts for our salvo product. the business development manager would establish and maintain long-term customer relationships by developing business through travel and providing excellent customer service while working with cross-functional teams to improve processes, metrics and margins.

key responsibilities

- target and secure large, new uk accounts for the salvo product

- work with business development director to develop marketing action plan and sales targets in territory. develop individual sales plan to ensure the achievement of targets

- manage our existing installation and distribution partners within the warehousing and logistics industry

- identify opportunities for innovation to create new, smart safety products

- explore and build new strategic partnerships with businesses within the warehousing and logistics industry to increase our reach and achieve our growth targets

- provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment

- collaborate with the marketing team to develop and present innovative technical presentations that promote salvo products and applications

- attend trade shows as necessary to increase awareness of salvo products

- manage and negotiate contracts on all accounts

- routinely track and communicate sales pipeline, sales prospects and competitive threats

- work with new product development team as a voice of the customer to enhance current product offerings and introduce new products

- work effectively with inside sales support and other departments to establish order processes to continuously drive internal and external efficiency

- travel to customer sites and projects as needed, 50% - 70% travel

preferred qualifications and requirements:

- 5-10 years applicable experience in b2b sales (in warehousing & logistics is a bonus)

- experience in creating and establishing relationships & negotiating terms with customers

- proven track record of growing sales & developing accounts

language skills:

- fluent english

- ability to read and understand complex documents including reporting, technical rules/requirements across different regulatory context
