Project engineer - united states, jacksonville (north carolina)

adecco search is recruiting on behalf of its client for the role of project engineer. this role is located in the raleigh-durham, nc area. this is a highly visible role which can definitely get you noticed!  you will manage and contribute to projects (process engineering/ product engineering) through complete life cycle including concept, design, development, and implementation.

 

you will

collaborate with various functions to conceptualize, write, and execute capital projects

design manufacturing/assembly cells – layout, capacity, material handling, equipment selection using engineering and lean principles

design and develop equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures

achieve project milestone timing and objectives for safety, quality, cost, and delivery

research, develop, and implement new processes and technologies as required by product design and business objectives

support deployment of corporate initiatives/compliance activities

analyze, test, and execute countermeasures by utilizing problem-solving methodologies

proven ability to achieve project objectives leading cross functional teams

understand and practice lean manufacturing concepts in the business and manufacturing environments

you have

engineering degree from an accredited institution, or 5+ years of industrial engineering experience in lieu of a degree

5-7 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, with demonstrated proficiency in cnc programming, tool and gauge design, and cold forming processes

ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and efficiently at all levels inside and outside the organization

cherry on top

5-7 years of experience in an automotive machining environment with demonstrated excellence and creativity in the items above

experience in automation design for material handling and gauging, machine tool selection, and creo 3d modeling
