Quality support administrator - united kingdom, huddersfield, west yorkshire

purpose:

continually strive for customer excellence and support our vision by supporting the product evolution and compliance team by accurately recording and reporting quality data. compile weekly and monthly reports detailing the business performance against set targets and support the customer centric quality manager by dealing with and responding to quality-related customer concerns, ensuring that the customer and the business are protected from known or repeat issues, thus maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

this role will be at our meltham site.

responsibilities

- maintain all key metric data and charts regarding the quality performance, providing detailed weekly and monthly reports/presentations

- custodian of the deviation and change control processes. ensure timely responses are provided and communicated back to interested parties

- support the ccr process, from receipt of customer concern up to and including effective ccr close out

- provide support for the customer services and sales team/s

- maintain ccr trackers, ensuring information is accurate and up to date

- support quality investigation by assessment and testing of returned goods

- ensure poor quality fabric is contained on as400 preventing dispatch to customers including de-allocation whilst reporting issues to the relevant team

- facilitate management of non-conforming product by regularly reviewing grade 01 stock and containing product to its correct location

- participate in quarterly stock take of non-conforming product. communicate non-conforming products to both internal and external stakeholders

- raise supplier rejection and non-conformance reports with supporting evidence for supplier quality issues

- manage release of certified products on the qaa system, working with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of certificates

- maintain all monitoring and measuring equipment to ensure calibration requirements are fulfilled

- facilitate all department managers and team leaders to ensure the correct use of sypol cms

- carry out general admin tasks

- demonstrate a solution focused approach to problem solving

education/skills/knowledge/experience

- gcse (or equivalent) in maths, english and ict

- experience in business process analysis, improvement tools and re-engineering (desired)

- good textiles technical knowledge (desired)

- excellent software skills

- previous experience in a similar role (desired)

- knowledge of textile fault awareness and identification (desired)

- knowledge of as400

- knowledge of all microsoft packages in particular excel
