marlborough nannies are delighted to advertise for an all-rounder family assistant / nanny for a family living in longworth, oxfordshire, ox13.

this is a brilliant opportunity for a motivated, versatile, child friendly household all-rounder to look after the families lovely home and help care for their 3 school aged children (16, 13 & 11)

this lovely family are looking for an experienced, dynamic and proactive person who has a happy and positive disposition and is highly organised with an excellent eye for detail to oversee the running of their home and family life. they have a cleaner so no deep cleaning is involved.

household duties to include and not be limited to:

* grocery shopping & organisation, coordinate online delivery food subscriptions

* maintain stock in fridges, freezers, cellar and pantry.

* family cooking and meal planning (vegetarian & meat eaters)

* provide food for guests, parties and celebrations (birthday cakes / party food)

* keeping the house tidy and presentable at all times, unloading / loading the dishwasher, washing up, organising food waste / recycling and taking the bins out.

* laundry, changing bed linen, organise / put away all clothes and maintain the linen cupboard.

* houseplants / fresh flower care

* ordering household supplies

* managing contractors, suppliers, tradesmen and service providers

* paying invoices

* running errands

* making sure guest rooms are well stocked

childcare duties to include and not be limited to:

* light housekeeping for the children, encouraging them to keep their areas neat and tidy, clear their plates from the table etc.

* school bus drop and pick up

* supervision of homework and learning

* arrange and oversee play dates

* booking appointments, orthodontist, dentist, doctors, haircuts, uniform and sports kit fittings etc

* school calendar / diary management

* attend and schedule activities during the school holidays.

the family have a dog, dog care will include walking, feeding, watering, vet trips, ordering tablets, washing dog bedding etc.

the start date is the end of october, the family are prepared to wait longer for the ideal candidate.

the ideal days required are tuesday to friday working 28 – 32 hours per week.

a confident car driver is essential, an automatic car can be provided for business and personal use.

you are required to have an enhanced dbs on the update service and a valid paediatric first aid certificate.
