financial analyst – one year project
adecco is seeking an experienced financial analyst for a long-term temporary assignment in downtown topeka. this assignment will last one year and starts as soon as possible!
hourly pay rate is $27.40 per hour
hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm monday through friday

the financial analyst position requires the following:
to be the subject matter expert in computing, analyzing, and applying the agency’s indirect cost rate (icr).
will research 1) federal policy, 2) best practices across the public sector, and 3) internal accounting transactions and funding balances to make sure the icr is accurately applied.
work closely with the vendor contracted to compute the federally certified indirect cost rate by answering the vendor’s questions and providing the data and information requested by the vendor.
will help compile data for, and assist in the reporting of, the annual schedule of expenditures of federal awards (sefa) and the annual comprehensive financial report (acfr).
must be able to work independently, report findings to stakeholders, and make recommendations based on the research conducted.
skills/experience required:
• experience in working with federal grants. education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
• experience in financial analysis. education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
• research skills
experience preferred:
• grant background working with federally approved indirect cost rates
• experience with smart/peoplesoft or other large accounting information systems
