we are currently recruiting for a sous chef to join the kitchen brigade in a newly refurbished hotel near newbury. the sous chef will support the head chef in ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times in the preparation and service of food across multiple outlets.

the place

our client is an historic hotel on the outskirts of newbury which has recently come under new ownership. after an extensive refurbishment, the hotel is due to reopen at the end of the month as a luxury boutique hotel with 2 restaurants, elegant bar and busy courtyard as well as a spa, gym and infinity pool.

the ideal sous chef will have the following:
