basic salary of £24,000 p.a. - £26,000 p.a. (dependent on experience)

full-time, permanent, flexible home (uk) and bradford, west yorkshire office-based

reporting directly to the chief financial officer, your key areas of responsibility will be:

- assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journal posting, prepayments and accruals

- credit control: management of the trade debtors ledger; escalation of cash collection issues; posting cash receipts to sage and accounts receivable related reporting

- credit monitoring: credit checking clients, monitoring and recording payment history; escalation of concerns

- updating weekly liquidity with cash collections and forecasting short-term cash collections

- responsible for raising all client invoices

- resolving client queries

- continuous support of finance team members, processes, and procedures

key skills/requirements:

- 2+ years' experience in comparative roles

- previous experience of month-end duties such as accruals, journal posting and prepayments

- attention to detail

- excellent verbal and written communication skills

- good excel skills including vlookup and pivot table

- working knowledge of sage 50 desirable
