Theatre clinical support worker - orthopaedic elective & trauma team - united kingdom, wirral, merseyside
wirral university teaching hospital is seeking to recruit two clinical support workers to join our dynamic operating theatre team. whether you have experience or are looking to start a career in the operating theatre, wuth is the organisation for you. we need support workers to deliver and support high standards of perioperative care to our patients.
the post holder will be required to work as part of a highly motivated team with real commitment to providing a high standard of patient care. the role requires you to support other members of the theatre team, such as scrub practitioners, operating department practitioners (odp), surgeons and anaesthetists. the role will also support the management of implantable devices used in theatres and the management of loan trays and equipment , checking and providing assurance to the theatre teams that the kit is available. this will be a rotational role between theatre and device management.

the post is with the orthopaedic team based predominantly at arrowe park hospital. there will be opportunity for cross site working and the role is across 7 days.
