what to expect
the mla life cycle programme manager will hold responsibility for global purchasing across 24-27my in agile working at a vehicle team (domain) level delivering on time, on quality and on capacity all programmes within life cycle of the mla architecture.
to be a successful candidate, you will need to act as the leader for global purchasing on a day-to-day basis within mla life cycle in agile at a vehicle team level. because of this, you will be expected to plan and design your programme teams work to ensure successful programme delivery. you should also expect to proactively monitor programme health through the resolution of risks and issues within jira and take the lead to initiate corrective action where required.
what you'll need
jaguar land rover are looking for someone that will be able to effect co-ordination of the programmes within mla life cycle projects and any associated interdependencies impacting supplier industrialisation - someone who will also maximise the efficient allocation of global purchasing resources across the mla programme's within agile.
an impactful mla life cycle programme manager will be comfortable managing and developing internal and external supplier relationships within mla life cycle as well as the communications with stakeholders in global purchasing.
a key focus for this role, and the team, is that you are fully trained in agile and its methodologies including tools such as jira, confluence and lucid and have the drive to undertake any other work as directed by their your manager upon request.
knowledge, skills and experience
essential:
experience of project management from kick off to delivered
use of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes, including risk management
credibility within the programme environment and ability to influence others
good knowledge of agile and tools used within i.e. jira
leadership behaviours in line with our creators code.
degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred
desirable:
experience of working in a programme delivery environment in a cross functional team
experience working in agile
major project delivery experience
transformation and change management experience
experience of process improvement and lean thinking
