clinical research associates - field based uk what does it take to be a good clinical research associate?????? with the market being as competitive as it is, how do you cut through the competition and make yourself stand out? do you have to sell yourself short to spark the interest, undervaluing your experience, just to get a new opportunity? do you have to work 18 hour days just so that you are offered a role? well, the great news is that working with a 'talented' and very hard working, industry specialist within clinical research with excellent relationships with the leading cro's, you have to compromise on very little to achieve your ideal role. it is my job to listen and understand what values you can bring to a new company and make sure that you are put first. the end goal is to find you a role that you can flourish in and achieve your career goals and i am extremely motivated to make sure i find you the right position first time round. you will need to have experience in all therapeutic areas and if you have worked in oncology, even better. the cro's i work with are very appreciative of supporting a good work/life balance and will always try and provide you with sites that are close to home. whilst hard work is required, you don't need to sell your soul just to make ends meet. i am working with small, medium and large cro's offering a variety of different working environments and all are itching to hear from you. you will be supported in your growth, receive world class training and have the opportunity to work on complex studies, which will not only make you a more rounded cra and give you the confidence to progress but, the work you do will absolutely make a difference to patients' lives. in a nutshell: do you have a life science degree or equivalent?
