customer service function, providing technical phone support and /or on-site field work to train, troubleshoot, specify replacement parts, and repair coring machines.
support engineering by performing testing, inspection and researching and sourcing components.
cross train in machine assembly to assist in fabrication of new machines.
provide support for production maintenance and special projects
tasks and responsibilities
troubleshoot and repair of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components
machine fabrication and assembly.
perform on-site training, machine start-up, and technical assistance for customers.
respond to product and technical inquiries from customers by providing phone support for trouble shooting, and spare parts, etc.
coordinate with sales, manufacturing, and engineering departments in to facilitate the needs of the customer.
provide input to the design of future machines.
assist in product development and rubber product testing.
involvement with process improvements at our new hampshire and missouri locations.
support maintenance department as needed.
work closely with engineers and operations management to fulfil internal customers’ needs and communicate results.
assist engineers with time studies, bom and costing.
other duties as assigned.
education and experience
5-10 years related experience
experience with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment and components.
experience with mechanical assembly, repair and mechanic’s tools.
technical coursework and hydraulic troubleshooting is a plus but not required.
