Program coordinator - united states, sierra colorado

adecco is seeking a program coordinator to support a physician's assistant program at a local university. primary duties include planning, implementing, and evaluating day-to-day operations within the program such as maintaining accurate records, compiling and reporting program survey data, supporting pa faculty and adjunct faculty in classroom coordination, providing general administrative support to the team. this is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.

  • oversee office operations for the physician assistant (pa) program 
  • support planning and coordination of the pa program didactic curriculum 
  • coordinate distribution, collection, and analysis of program surveys in collaboration with the program’s data and project management team.
  • develop and implement systems to track and report budgets including, but not limited to: a. supplies (office, and classroom) b. use of adjunct and external speakers
  • organize and schedule program meetings and maintain agendas a. take and maintain accurate meeting minutes. arrange travel for faculty, staff, and external guests, if necessary
  • support and build positive relations within the team and external parties. support program accreditation activities perform other duties as assigned, supporting the mission of the program and the university
  • required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • proven experience as an office coordinator or relevant position.
  • knowledge of program management procedures.
  • proven independent decision-making and judgement, creativity in problem-solving; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • ability to synthesize materials and make recommendations to appropriate parties. 5. tech savvy, proficient in ms office suite of products. 
  • ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • excellent time-management and organizational skills.detail-oriented and efficient.
  • outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • knowledge and understanding of higher education and policies related to confidentiality. 
  • minimum qualifications:
    bsc/ba in business administration or equivalent combination of education and academic-related experience.

    preferred qualifications:
    master’s degree in business administration, public health or relevant field.
    experience providing administrative support in an academic, healthcare, or academic healthcare environment.
    experience proofing, editing and drafting documents.
