this lovely family have 3 children aged 4, 18 months and 4 months, they require a highly organised, professional, confident, well presented, articulate, discreet, forward thinking nanny who is looking for longevity in a position. you will have extensive experience and passion for looking after young children and babies and enjoy filling their days with fun and laughter, learning and play. the eldest child attends nursery each day leaving you responsible to make sure the 2 younger children are well socialised taking them to local groups, engaging in the local community and arranging / attending play dates.
all childcare and nursery duties are required
both parents lead full and busy lifestyles but are still keen to be involved with the children on a daily basis so this role will be a mixture of sole and shared care.
they are looking for a nanny who has worked in a similar role before, either living in or previously worked a rota role to start as soon as possible and are eager to find a candidate who is able to hit the ground running settling into the family. the household is fully staffed so an excellent team player is essential as is being happy to work independently.
the utmost discretion / confidentiality and trust are of vital importance for this role. you will be required to sign a nda.
you will be required to travel with the family during the school holidays to some wonderful destinations.
the family have 2 friendly dogs so an animal lover is essential.
the core days and hours required are monday to friday from 07.30am – 7.00pm, 1-2 nights babysitting will be required during the week. flexibility is key for this position.
a confident car driver is essential, a car will be provided.
live in accommodation is self contained with a spacious bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area with separate entrance
you are required to have an enhanced dbs on the update service and a valid paediatric first aid certificate.
