as buyer administrator you will be part of our buying operations function in watford, providing dedicated administrative support to the buying team. your role will go beyond just logging and organizing the buyers' itineraries and managing purchase orders and invoices. you'll get to write orders. you'll even get to filter potential suppliers and set up and support in the management of our vendors. through truly getting to know each vendor - the information you collate will be vital in helping buyers work more effectively.

you'll get to perform special projects and support in strategy and style out preparation for the pre-production and production sample processes. this will include requesting and coordinating samples from vendors, setting up displays for buyer approval, creating mood boards, strategy packs and presentations.

key skills, knowledge & experience

self-starter with the ability to prioritise and manage a high volume of priorities in a fast paced and changeable environment

strong administrative and organisational skills, attention to detail and an ability to deliver against tight deadlines;

excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are key, as are strong interpersonal skills, where you can build relationships with people on all levels;

systems skills (microsoft office packages, particularly excel).
