job summary

as part of the european talent acquisition operations team the project manager will support a variety of ta projects in line with the european hr goals & priorities.

in partnership with key stakeholders across the entire department, the ta project manager will help support, identify, develop and implement innovative and cohesive solutions to effectively deliver projects on time. through development or innovation they will drive the agenda of continuous improvement and consider interventions which make our people, processes, or deliverables more effective.

to lead on europe focused projects in conjunction with global procurement and sourcing and volume assessment/hiring model creating, owning and maintaining processes relating to these projects.

responsible for the delivery and change management of global talent acquisition projects from the us (including vendor management system, onboarding and tms related projects) ensuring on-time delivery and applying sound project governance as a european subject expert.

responsible for responding to highlighted opportunities for improvement in the talent acquisition function, working closely with ta leadership to define priorities, communicate a ta programme plan and re-prioritize based on opportunity, demand, legalities or risk.

key responsibilities

project management, tools, process & reporting

own, maintain and improve key talent acquisition processes - identifying and implementing continuous improvements including development of new process and policy where required

support specific talent acquisition projects and take the lead for europe globally on us ran projects being the primary project point of contact for ta tjx europe including- responsible for decisions, collaboration, design, resource assignments, managing and escalating issues and risks ,working with ta systems manager to test systems and processes as required

take the lead for europe to manage internal resources across the different functions, timelines, and deliverables including creating change management plans as required

identify potential projects across ta based on findings from ta reporting and external market insights - bringing and identifying innovation to help drive efficiencies

work with the ta systems manager to agree on the provision of data and reports, based on processes applied and create ad-hoc reports, project plans and governance documents when required and analyse to make recommendations.

leads project activities and reports project status to talt ensure that assigned projects are completed on time, within approved budget, and provides desired business value

stakeholder management

build and maintain successful partnerships with the ta team, key stakeholders and sponsors

use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services, suggesting alternatives to conventional approaches if required working closely with key ta stakeholders

able to partner across senior levels of the business and across different functions (including gs&p, legal, translation services, process improvement, finance, it) globally when required and within the talent acquisition team

team

assigns priorities for and coordinates the activities of project teams including work stream leads

direct the work of other members of the ta team on projects as an informal team leader

formal training of the wider ta team on new or updated processes

able to provide guidance and advice and share knowledge with other members of the ta team

has solid knowledge of the competitive market for talent and the factors that differentiate tjx europe

shares knowledge with other members of the team in an informal way, engaging the team around change activity and linking it to operational practices and planned benefits

key skills, knowledge & experience

excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels and with the ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences.

experience in managing complex projects in international and/or matrix environments, preferably within ta/ hr.

project manager experience:

experience of using standard pmo tools, methodologies and processes.

a qualification in project management is desirable.

experience with pc based project management tools including ms project, ms word, and ms excel.

experience creating and managing detailed project financial data and performing the analysis necessary.

project management (prince2, pmp) desirable.

experience of lean six sigma or similar process improvement methodology, lss green or yellow belt certification is highly desirable

highly organised, able to prioritise and to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

strong process and analytical skills tied with sharp decision-making abilities.

strong customer service skills with a focus on listening to the customer.

mentoring and coaching ability.

complete integrity and reliability to manage and perform sensitive and confidential work.

good interpersonal skills and the ability to work across the organisation at all levels using influencing.

fluent in english, another european language would be considered an advantage.
