Welders mate and steelwork remedial worker - united kingdom, poole, dorset
looking for an enthusiastic candidate to work alongside an experienced steel worker on construction sites around the south of england.
duties include; preparing steelwork for welding, working at height, laying out and packing away equipment required, assisting in snagging steelwork, bolting connections, cleaning and tool maintenance.
early mornings starts will be common and impeccable timekeeping will be required.
all relevant training will be given as required, however a background in steel fabrication or erecting would be an advantage.
a valid cscs card is essential before employment commences
current ipaf card or cherry picker experience would be an advantage
this is for a full-time salaried position with 28 days holiday and pension.
salary 20k - 24k depending on experience.
alternatively an experienced worker on a sub-contract basis will also be considered.
