our client has an exciting opportunity for a materials, planning and logistics coordinator to join the team! working within a team of 3 in their mp&l team, reporting to the commercial and supply chain manager.

the successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, and pay high attention to detail whilst being able to manage to change demands, putting customers first plays an essential part in this role. they are looking for an individual that has previous experience within the print industry and bespoke it planning alongside the knowledge and experience of a manufacturing environment.

the job role and responsibilities include:

manage capacity profile on omp for customer orders loadings, planned maintenance, holidays, overtimemanage omp production calendar: maintenance, customer reserves, downtimemanage suppliers of raw materials and organise the incoming materials to meet the plan and customer deliveriesensuring maintenance of stock customers and stock levels are controlledreview temp labour is required in conjunction with short- and medium-term planinformation from mp&l team to production is accurate and maintainedchallenge efficiencies with 3rd part transport providerssupport month-end valuations and procedures are maintainedweekly preventative maintenance schedule adhered toprovide customer service and commercial manager with requested data and reportsprovide cover and support to mp&l team. updating plan, controlling job bags, pallet management

the ideal candidate will need to demonstrate the following:

proven track record in delivering high levels of customer servicestrong it skills and administration of complex business systems (bespoke planning tools)excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyse large amounts of dataproactive and able to make sound logical decisionseffective stock management experiencemust demonstrate logical/methodical approachresilient and able to cope under pressure to react to frequently changing situationsteam player

salary up to £33,000 per annum.
