Microbiology technician - united kingdom, grimsby, lincolnshire

we are currently recruiting for microbiology technicians to work on a shift pattern.

you will be required to adhere to following

- registration, preparation and analysis of samples as required

- preparation of media and media qc in line with methods and standards.

- reading plates

- confirmation and validation of analytical results as required

- adhering to document procedure for all aspects of laboratory work.

- handling samples correctly

- responsible for ensuring that uk health and safety legislation is maintained at all times.

- maintaining turn around time

- providing a high level of internal and external customer care.

- knowledge of laboratory quality manual in order to ensure compliance at all times with the policies.

shift pattern:

week 1 - mon, thurs & fri 10:00-21:30

week 2 tues, wed, sat & sun 10:00 -21:00

temp - perm for the right candidates.

pay rate : £9.75 p/h
