our client is a progressive and rapidly expanding company, who are looking to grow their hr team. they have recently acquired a third site, so the hr team will be working across 2 sites of the sites to ensure hr presence is available to all employees. now is an exciting time to grow with our highly successful client!
the role:
supporting the hr manager and the hr team in the day to day running of the department. the role includes administration of all aspects of the hr function. the job holder will be a key member of the team that together delivers an outstanding hr service that supports the growth of the business and its' people.
* update and maintain all hr databases to ensure all personnel data is recorded and kept accurately and securely
* payroll administration
* administration of training records, and training matrices
* ensure all relevant paperwork and records are complete and filed
* update policies and procedures ensuring legal compliance
* data manipulation and reporting on resource and hr statistics
* maintain and monitor sickness absence records and escalate when issues arise
* administration of appropriate reward, motivation and career development interventions
* administration of all other hr activities as appropriate
suitable candidates should have the following:
* strong administration skills
* experience of working in a manufacturing/engineering environment desirable
* level 3 cipd qualification or working towards this is desirable, although consideration will be given to sponsorship of a cipd qualification after successful completion of probation
* computer literate and a competent user of ms word & excel is essential
* highly numerate
* strong interpersonal and communication skills
* ability to prioritise workload and manage own time effectively
* full uk driving licence
