Live-out housekeeper - united kingdom, windsor, berkshire
our client, a family of four with a small friendly dog, are seeking a proactive, efficient live-out housekeeper/pa based in windsor to assist with the smooth running of their busy household.
duties include:
all aspects of general housekeeping: cleaning, tidying, dusting, hoovering, changing bed linens
laundry and ironing
dog care – feeding, booking vet appointments, optional dog sitting when the family are away (either in your own home or at the client’s residence) or alternatively arranging, dropping off and collecting him from the sitter
family cooking occasionally (such as cutting veg to be prepared later by the clients and preparing family meals)
booking and managing contractors
running errands as required – for example dry cleaning, shopping, taking things to post office
weekly online grocery shopping
gardening – mowing the lawn, weeding, watering the plants, leaf blowing, and keeping the patio areas clean and tidy
household admin such as car; home insurance, booking mots/car maintenance, paying invoices for contractors etc
filling up family cars and taking them to the garage
managing the father's personal email inbox
handling post, deliveries, and filing
basic diy around the house
desirable: tenancy management of the clients’ small rental property
the ideal candidate must be child-friendly as there are 2 young children (3 and 1 years of age) within the residence. there is a nanny employed so you would be expected to work collaboratively with her, assisting each other where needed. occasional ad-hoc childminding will be required.
the ideal candidate would be:
self-sufficient and proactive
incredibly tidy with a meticulous eye for detail
professional but warm with a sunny disposition
full driving licence with own car is essential
this is a true all-rounder role working for an incredibly down-to-earth family who are looking for someone to remain with them on a long-term basis.
working days: monday to friday.
working hours: 8.30am-6.00pm with a 30-minute break at 1.00pm. exact hours may be negotiable.
salary: upwards of £39,000 gross per annum, depending on experience.
