female night carer/personal assistant needed for emergencies. must be available at short notice of only a few hours to 24 hours.

night carer needed for 40 year old disabled lady who has seizures and mobility issues. £92 per night. £11:50 an hour. cash in hand. payment will be made at the end of each shift. please enquire if you are interested in emergency day work for a few hours.

this will be a waking night but you will still have much time to yourself as my neurological condition requires a lot of rest.

tasks will include:

doing washing up

cleaning

pushing me in my wheelchair

helping support and position my body when needed

fetching or moving anything i ask

helping keep me calm and providing comfort when confused or in pain

keeping a written record of all medication taken

looking after me when having a seizure

massaging my muscles each night

preparing a snack

helping me get dressed

helping me use the bathroom and emptying my commode

this is not an exhaustive list of everything needed and tasks will evolve over time.

as this is a hands on job, i am looking for someone who can:

do manual handling, help do an easy to learn technique called pressure pointing to relieve muscle spasms (someone with strong arms is useful)
able to provide a lot of quiet and calm
able to follow instructions well
gentle
flexible with duties due to fluctuating nature of my illness
happy personality
positive attitude under stress
well organised

i am clinically extremely vulnerable meaning i would not survive catching covid-19. as a result, anyone applying for this job must have the covid-19 vaccinations.

please note i can only offer work to those with:

proof of right to live and work in the uk (passport or visa)
proof of vaccination
must not have regular contact with hospitals, schools or care homes
will wear a face mask, gloves and have excellent hygiene
your most recent paper certificate of a clean crb/dbs check. an old crb/dbs is acceptable, a serial number to an online data base is not acceptable. if a company or agency have done a dbs check on you in the past, you can contact them to ask for a copy. must not have convictions.
