adecco is working with a national manufacturer of industrial tools, hiring immediately for a cnc machinist at their manufacturing plant in milwaukie, or. starting pay is $24-32 per hour (depending on experience), plus available overtime. m-f all shifts
position: cnc machinist
experience: at least 3-4 consecutive years in a cnc machinist position.
pay: $24-32, willing to consider more depending on level of experience.
shift: day shift during training. hiring for all shifts.
what you’ll do
under the direction of the value stream leader and senior team leader, this position is responsible for setting up and operating one or more nc or cnc machines to perform drilling, tapping, milling, boring and other machine operations over a wide range of surfaces, diameters and depths. job setups may be complex and require machining to very close tolerances.

the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
verify and/or locate necessary blueprints, set up sheets, materials, fixtures, tooling, and inspection tools.
perform machine set up. load fixture and tooling.
download program and tooling offsets.
test the first tool for proper offsets.
run part.
tear down set up and return tooling and fixtures to designated location.
inspect parts for specified tolerances.
perform secondary operations, such as counter bore, drill press, arbor press, deburr, burgmaster, sub-assemblies, and packaging.
complete machine log, production log, and kanban cards.
conduct light machine maintenance, such as checking oil and filling oil and coolant.
adhere to 5s+1 program.
