gbr recruitment are working with a leading manufacturing company recruiting for an experienced purchasing coordinator / administrator to join the buying team within this ever growing highly successful client. in this key purchasing role you will successfully control inventory levels by effectively liaising with all suppliers in order for the business to continue delivering finished products to key customers otif ensuring supplies meet production / order demands. this role doesn't involve sourcing new suppliers it purely deals with current suppliers. duties: inventory control measures to agreed value & product / storage availability levels. control the processing invoices / purchase orders & goods receipt information review of excess & end of line stock supporting accurate effective stock management analysis of third-party supplier invoices, forwarding to finance for payment. general administrative support as required liaise effectively with warehouse / goods-in teams to ensure smooth supply of goods. effectively communicate supplier lead-times to all departments. coordinate the bills of material process (boms) attributes desired: purchasing coordinator or purchasing administrator experience is ideal. strong administration skills. excel skills. ability to liaise effectively with internal & external parties interviews to take place immediately
