gbp35,398 per year

35 hours per week

we pay up to gbp500 welcome bonus when you join sanctuary and up to gbp500 per year thereafter retention bonus

we are currently seeking an experienced property delivery surveyor with a successful track record working within the housing sector. this position sits within the asset department, who are responsible for delivering high quality and cost-effective strategies to manage sanctuary's property portfolio. they advise on reinvestment programmes, stock condition surveys, and provide specialist surveyor input on a range of other matters to ensure that properties are maintained and retain their value. this is a great opportunity for a building graduate looking to progress their career within the housing sector and gain vital experience to grow as a professional.

the role of property delivery surveyor will include:

undertaking stock condition surveys in line with organisational policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and contract performance

helping to identify required asset improvements in line with business plans, ensuring that strategies and plans are developed and high quality services are delivered

managing cyclical and capital work projects in line with legislation and making appropriate recommendations

overseeing the delivery of mixed tenure work programmes in accordance with the organisation's financial policies and procedures

managing disrepair and environmental health cases which will enable you to suggest appropriate remedies and strategies to address any building relating issues

skills and experiences:

a building related degree/professional qualification or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience

successful track record of delivering building surveying services, and management of substantial work programmes in a similar environment

comprehensive knowledge of decent homes, hhsrs, cdm, dda and asbestos and fire regulations

working knowledge of building regulations, legislation and current practices is essential

sound knowledge of microsoft packages, including advanced excel, assets lifecycle software, sap and visio is desirable

travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
