about the transport team manager role
at bidfood, we recognise that the quality of our transport teams is pivotal to our success. our transport team manager role is an instrumental role as part of this and is responsible for managing the daily operations, results and people within the department.
you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to stakeholders at all levels. creating an engaging environment for the driver team is a priority of the department and you will be expected to play a lead role in developing this.
you, along with the other managers within the department, will set the standards for safety and compliance whilst managing to deliver service excellence to our customers.
it is a high paced, intense environment so being strong-willed, positive and resilient should form part of your character.
