are you a professional chauffeur looking for a new role in live-in role surrey?

we’re looking for a live-in personal chauffeur to work for a lovely family based in weybridge, surrey. the chauffeur will be responsible for conveying the family to and from home to london / surrey etc.

a degree of flexibility is required to meet the principal’s needs on some evenings when they attend events or late dinners and on weekends to collect their son from boarding school.

the chauffeur must be professionally presented (smart casual), punctual, polite, courteous and have a “can do” attitude. their command of spoken english must be fluent and they must be approachable, and discreet and have impeccable customer service skills at all times.

alongside the core responsibilities of the chauffeur, you will also be expected to complete some other tasks ad-hoc duties such as basic cooking or assisting the household team. caring for the cars being always clean and roadworthy, and ensuring insurance, services and mots are up to date will also be your responsibility. driving experience with bentley cars preferred. fully staffed house, so being a team player is required.

working schedule: 5 days per week, 50 hours per week (usually 8/9am till 6/7pm). flexibility is required and work hours include weekends, with two days off during the week.

duties

school runs (weekends)
driving to various places in and around london and other areas
liaising with the family to determine when and where you will collect
errands
driving safe, courteous driving mentioned in the next section
ensuring that the vehicles remain pristine and in excellent working order.
ensuring mot, services and insurances are up to date
some housework duties (as required)

the minimum requirements to apply are:

having personal chauffeur experience or similar;
at least 5 years driving experience;
good knowledge of london streets
fluent in english
hold a clean valid uk driver’s license
courteous, safe driving
only non-smokers can be considered
enhanced dbs check and excellent checkable references

the salary is £35,000 to £40,000 gross per year, depending on experience, with a review in 6 months. the position comes with 28 days of paid holidays, including bank holidays / days in lieu. the accommodation consists of self-contained flat, with a separate entrance. partners welcome at the provided accommodation, utilities included. long-term position with a reputable hnw family.
