they are looking for an experienced hr manager to join their talented team. you will work alongside the partners and wider senior management team to deliver the people strategy by providing a generalist remit across 2 locations.

you will be responsible for the human resources function within the business and will play a key role in shaping and delivering the hr strategy. our client encourage professional and personal development and are an approved employer for the ice training scheme, encouraging all team members to strive towards the best they can be.

what you will be doing:

assisting key stakeholders to shape and manage recruitment process (including the graduate development programme and apprenticeship/trainee schemes).
providing strategic guidance on people practices such as succession planning, learning and development and employee engagement.
bringing people expertise and developing solutions to help the business area to deliver its strategy and manage the employer branding strategy.
influencing and building relationships with people around the business.
coaching and providing feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency.
developing and managing the employee benefits scheme.
shaping and managing the full employee life cycle.
leading the performance and development processes.
providing advice to partners and line managers on the full range of hr activities, such as employee relations, policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, performance management, sickness absence.
acting as a trusted advisor to the partners and line managers, building and developing strong relationships across the organisation.
continuously looking for more efficient and simpler methods of working, through reviewing of processes and systems.
leading the ongoing development of our hr system.

about you

good commercial awareness and experience of managing day-to-day hr issues.
experience of employee engagement best practice – knowledge of iip or best companies to work for would be desirable.

knowledge of setting up and administering visas (sponsorship licence).
