Marketing executive - united kingdom, didcot, oxfordshire

an exciting opportunity has arisen for a marketing executive to join our team at oxford leathercraft, a manufacturer, and importer of belts and leather goods.

we’re in a time of progressive change and are looking for an energetic, results-driven, experienced marketeer.

to be suitable for this position, you will have previous online and offline b2b marketing experience, preferably from a retail, clothing or gift sector marketing background with a strong consumer brand focus.

role responsibilities

you will be proactive, hands-on, a contributor and team-player willing to roll your sleeves up in a broad marketing role, working closely with the team across a broad range of marketing requirements – from advertising, pr and planning to developing and distributing point of sale material and developing content and imagery for the website and working on catalogues. you may be required to assist with product design and with setting up for trade exhbitions. you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, seeing projects through from end to end. you must be both creative and analytical with a passion for what you do and a desire to help make things better. you’ll be a dynamic team player with a wealth of experience in all forms of marketing to work closely with our small sales team.

you will have excellent communication skills, good time management and a ‘can do’ attitude. you will bring experience within a similar broad marketing role and ideally hold a formal marketing qualifiaction (the latter is not essential)

as necessary you will work with our appointed web developler, amazon management company and photographer.

objective of the role

the endeavour is to replace external agency we're currently using with a talented full time member of staff to work closley with our sales team. we require you to create and execute on a comprehensive marketing strategy to keep us on our current growth tragectory.

hours

full time hours to be agreed with the sucessful candidate but we expect them to be in the region of 38-40 hours per week, monday-friday. job share or part time options considered for the right candidate. please indicate your preference for weekly hours when applying.

£28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

address: pearith court, appleford road, long wittenham, ox14 4ps. due to the nature of the role and team, we require the successful candiate to travel to and work from the office but will consider some flexibility (work from home days) if required. please only apply if you are comfortable working onsite and if you have broad hands-on marketing experience
