Maintenance technician - united states, bloomington (illinois)

adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a maintenance technician opportunity in chicago, il.

type: contract 

pay: $28/hour

length:  one (1) year, with the possibility of converting to permanent placement
shift/hours: 2nd shift (monday-friday, 2:30pm-11:00pm) and 3rd shift (sunday-thursday, 10:30pm-7:00am) available, must be able to train on 1st shift   

notes:  onsite

responsibilities for the maintenance technician job:

  • keep machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair
  • may examine, troubleshoot, and dismantle machinery to make necessary adjustments
  • may inspect buildings, equipment, and systems for issues
  • may schedule repairs for faulty equipment or damaged structures

    • qualifications for this maintenance technician job:

  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 – 5 years of experience preferred
  • basic to intermediate understanding of proper hand tool use and application and mechanical aptitude
  • basic to intermediate skills with microsoft office opportunity employer/veterans/disabled
