Fabrication technician's - united states, lynchburg

adecco is currently hiring for 1st shift fabrication technician's located in lynchburg, va.  this can be a temp to hire role. pay for these positions start out at $17.00/hr. 

job duties include:

fabricate fittings to customer specifications using customized fabricating equipment, hand, power tools, adhesives, and fixtures.

obtain components from stock/production.

set-up equipment to match to requirements.

works as a team member.

inspect completed parts.

prepare parts for shipping, by placing them in boxes or on pallets. maintain reports for man-hours and inventory control.

correctly label all parts and boxes as needed.

visually inspect all incoming pipe and gaskets for defects.

complete all production reports.

qualifications include:

hsd/ged

ability to lift 50lbs

ability to work 6:00 am-2:00 pm with overtime as needed

experience with:

basic hand tools

power tools (hand drills, grinders and jig saws)

inspection tools and gauges

check pipes

measuring tape

micrometer
