Warehouse operator - united states, mason city

adecco is assisting a fortune 500 r&d corporation located in mason, ohio, in finding a warehouse operator willing to work within a r&d beauty care operation. be part of an active team that is responsible for maintaining and transporting inventory that play a vital role in r&d projects. the warehouse operator is responsible for the movement of materials from three floors of warehouses to a staging area for a pack out team. strong computer skills are required for an inventory tracking system and internal communications. all warehouses are subject to monthly audits and inspections.  training will be provided on the inventory management system.  hours of operation are monday – friday, 7 or 7:30am until 4 or 4:30pm.

this is a clean, temperature-controlled environment. high expectations are in place for safety and quality controls. the successful candidate will have a “safety mindset” for themselves and others around.  overtime is minimal.  there are opportunities for cross training and advancement.  starting pay is up to $22.00 based on computer skills and forklift experience.

responsibilities include:

ability to work pallet jacks and lifts and keep maintenance logs.

physical lifting capability and use of good body mechanics.

verbal and written email communication as needed with client and co-workers.

data input of inventory movement into inventory management system.

 

qualifications:

must have competent computer skills.  candidates will be subjected to excel and outlook skills assessment tests.

must have some current forklift experience.

good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

detail oriented with excellent organization capability

self-motivation
