requirements:
experience using disc cutters, road saws and trench rammers desired but not essential.
the job is self employed, working on a contract to lay ducting for fibre optic installations in the bournemouth area. we are sent out in a 2 man gang. the work will be carried out in either the footpaths, carriageways or in private property.
job consist of:
laying a duct from a box to another box, telephone pole or property.
digging out and installing cable joint boxes
digging out and repairing existing duct
experience doing these specific tasks is not essential as training will be provided.
pay is day rate, £100-£120 a day depending on experience
overtime offered when necessary. saturday's, normal day rate, sundays are double time.
hours are 7.30-4
