as a key leader within the digital performance marketing team, reporting to the head of performance, the head of ppc/paid acquisition will:

work with the head of performance to manage our broad set of international clients – from challenger brands to global superbrandsworking with 5 figure paid marketing budgets integrating across multidisciplinary teams including social and organicmanaging cross–client and internal team demandsmanage junior performance team membersworking alongside 1 other dedicated ppc manager at the moment, but looking to grow in the next 6 months to add anotherworking and mentoring junior performance managers across other disciplinesmanage, optimize and grow existing pay–per–click acquisition campaigns for clients – ensuring that cpas are managed to ensure growth and profitability; alongside the management of client expectation and target settingbe dynamic and work with the rest of the agency and client servicing teams to identify key areas of digital paid acquisition growthtesting new features on a regular basisexpanding on areas of opportunity and ultimately creating new channels of commercial growthbe responsible for internal and external reporting management on pay–per–click acquisition performance for all clients and campaignshave sole responsibility for managing internal relationships with key client servicing teams requiring pay–per–click acquisition campaignshelp with the management and growth of our digital performance team (ambitious aims over the next 6 to 12 months) the person

we're looking for somebody with passion and an entrepreneurial style:

3–5 years of experience running medium to large–scale paid search campaigns across google ads and bing ads as a ppc manager or similarconfident in creating successful campaigns across the full google ads network including; search, display, youtube, and performance maxholds a good understanding of other paid digital marketing channels and how they can be used in conjunction with ppc to create effective integrated campaigns – experience managing these paid platforms is preferable but not mandatorya comprehensive understanding of google analytics and its reporting functions – including presenting and sharing to clientsa passionate data–driven marketer with a proven track record of delivering growth through data–driven acquisition channelscommercial understanding. you'll be able to easily identify commercial opportunities for growth across all paid acquisition channels and confident in removing channels that aren't returning resultsa desire to be hands–onmanagerial or leadership experience is preferablean ability to communicate clearly to upwards managementa drive and desire to get stuck in and a self–starting attitude (this is a new role at ppc – previously covered by the head of the department so we are looking for someone who has a vision and the ability to shape a department themselves)the usual stuff like being able to use gsuite and construct an email to clients without mixing up 'your' and 'you're'the ability to independently manage workloads within agreed time frames, run optimisation plans to maximise service levels and client retentionstaying up to date with industry trends and competitor activity, demonstrating how these can be incorporated into the strategyclient management experience including regular and comprehensive kpi reporting, phone calls, meetings, and video conferencingthe ability to independently organise, deliver and present client meetings.
