this is a unique opportunity for a partner sales director to join a leading, and highly ambitious, cyber security service provider, experiencing impressive demand and ready to take things to a new level.
building on an established and successful partner programme, we are looking for a business development director with experience and knowledge of professional services. our partner programme is designed to allow other organisations to either refer cyber security opportunities to us, or to integrate our service offering into theirs. the target for new partners is medium to large professional service organisations operating in the insurance, finance, business services, legal, and private equity markets. we can demonstrate existing success within these markets.
as a company we don't like variable pay. so, we pay all sales and business development roles a fixed salary equating to an old-fashioned ote.
ultimately reporting to the ceo, you will:
- own the entire revenue line(s) from all partner relationships
- identify new name partner opportunities, pitch and sign up
- nurture, grow and delight existing partner relationships - maximising resulting partner related sales
- commercially assess partner viability to take appropriate action where needed
- ensure there is a supportive marketing strategy
- know the full service range and ensure these are communicated effectively to partners
- identify emerging partner & market wants and needs and feedback into business
- ensure the partner division is adequately resourced to deliver the strategy in terms of competency, capacity and capability
key skills/requirements:
- 10 years+ hunting & farming at c level from mid market to ftse 250, with experience within professional services
- confident and articulate with natural gravitas
- proven negotiator with ability to manage objections live in the moment
- tenacious, persistent and resilient
- commercial and motivated by growing revenues (new & existing)
- seasoned networker and brand ambassador
