full uk driving licence is preffered due to moving vehicles to work station

gi group are recruiting for a qaulified brake technicians to be based at our client's site on purfleet port.

our client manage the logistics of new vehicles into the uk, and perform pre-delivery inspection and preparation including brake checks.

brake technicians on site will check and change brake fluid and pads to safety standards ready for customer use.

to be successful in this role you will require an apprenticeship in mechanics, due to the safety critical nature of the position. this will ideally be level 2.

your main duties will be:

* emptying brake fluid

* refilling brake fluid

* checking brake pads

* maintaining a clean working environment

you will be working with brand new vehicles and working in a good working environment.
