a busy happy family is looking for a dedicated, full time live-in housekeeper to work in their home in winchester. the family is looking for someone to perform all the typical housekeeping duties and laundry, alongside some basic cooking and assistance with the school runs.
ideally this person would be a driver and happy to travel for up to 8 weeks a year with the family.
location: central winchester
hours: approx. 50 hours a week, tuesday – fridays, 7am - 6pm and saturday 8am - 4pm (or sunday if preferred).
the family are away during all school holidays so over these periods the role can be monday to friday and is quieter! the family also have a full time nanny who assistant with housekeeping.
start date: asap
accomodation: large double bedroom and separate bathroom
holiday: 28 days, inclusive of public holidays
salary: £48,500 gross a year / approximately £660 net / take home a week
candidates must:
have at least 4 years' experience in a similar housekeeping role
have strong command of the english language with good communication skills, both written and verbal
supply excellent references required from both current and previous employers
be fully vaccinated against covid-19
have excellent attention to detail
be proactive in approach to their work
ideally be able to drive and have a valid driver's licence
preferred qualities:
positive attitude and friendly attitude
very organized, punctual and reliable
team-player – no job is too small
