project manager (m/f/d) – hybrid & storage energy systems

abo wind uk is looking for a project manager to support abo wind further growth into uk energy storage market. join the fast-growing energy storage department and help shaping and executing the strategy for our ambitious development goals. the ideal candidate has experience with development of renewable or energy storage systems development in uk and proven project management skills.

your passion

identifying, validating, and developing hybrid renewable energy and standalone energy storage projects in great britain
supporting the project development/design teams creating layouts, preparing planning applications and progressing them
staying up to date with the bess technology and applying this understanding at the design, construction and operation stages of projects
identification of sites for energy storage systems at distribution or transmission level
continuous evaluation of regulations and policy in the uk markets
manage a range of stakeholders relationships including decision makers in municipalities, system operators and landowners
creating and maintain project documentation ensuring adherence to internal and external standards and requirements
delivering projects within budget and on time with continuous, structured reporting to senior management



your qualification

academic degree in an economic, technical, engineering discipline
several years post-qualification experience in a relevant field of project development/management
knowledge in developing large renewable projects and ideally battery storage projects
know the permitting and application processes in great britain
strong business sense and have successfully demonstrated this in previous roles
proven skills in interacting with senior managers of both the private and public sector
excellent communication, project management and negotiation skills
business fluent in english
