Personal assistant/carer required for 32 yr old male with duchenne - united kingdom, brixton, london

i am a sociable 32 year old full-time wheelchair user. i love football (man utd), music, going to the cinema and socialising with friends and family over a drink and having fun.

i am looking for multiple pa’s to join my care team who are caring, compassionate, fun, energetic and easy to get on with. shifts are within the timeframe of 10am to 10pm, monday to sunday. both full time and part time roles are available.

duties will include but are not limited to:

undertaking personal care tasks like toileting, showering, physio, medication, etc
assisting me with my health needs such as peg care and ventilator/cough assist machine to name a few (training will also be provided)
as well as care duties, domestic duties will need to be undertaken
accompanying me to appointments, work, trips out or events, etc. being willing to assist me on nights out is desirable

essential requirements:

ni number and proof of right to work
valid dbs (can be applied for at no cost to the pa)
be punctual, reliable and be flexible with your working hours when required
fluent in english
be discreet and caring

other requirements:

previous experience and skills in caring for someone with complex care needs is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
applicants will need to wear full ppe and being covid vaccinated is very much desirable, but not essential.

salary:

£11.05 per hour (please contact me if self-employed in regards to pay)
